A 40 acre Japanese Garden and Banyan Drive with a Golf Range across the street that is Public and CoConut Island, a bridge connects it for access. Low Crime Rate and High Security with an elderly community that becomes friendly with time. We have a New Park on Reeds Bay and Banyan is being spruced up for a make-over. These Giant Banyan Trees Line The Drive and were planted in the 40's in a ceremony that commemorates the visiting dignitaries with a plaque naming each tree after one of them. Richard Nixon, Babe Ruth, and tens of others were here at the time. Uncle Don Inouye is My Landlord and Benefactor. He runs a tight ship. Reeds Bay Resort Hotel houses 60 units with 24 Hotel Rentals and the rest are long term owners and renters. I receive HUD that pays half the rent, and food stamps of $78 a month. I am an Oil-Painter that is forced to scale down on My Creation, because I can't afford it anymore and I want to go back to the ocean before it is so polluted and the sun so damaging It becomes prohibitive to surf naked. I want to live on the beaches and hidden gorges on the mountain side. Crap, I Can't because the access is limited and fenced and posted, with roving patrols of armed men. DLNR and even Lifeguards Carry firearms. If you cross the wrong property while going fishing, you might be tresspassing and get warned or injured by some crazy Homeland Security Official retired from the C.I.A. And just released from a Gov't Rehab. When I first arrived here nobody locked their homes or took the keys out of their cars and trucks. A fruit tree that was dropping ripe fruit, everyone could take (1) and nobody complained, people were less greedy. The Islands were Cheerful and The Dress Code was casual with Hawaiian Silkies that were Bold and Colorful. They were the Garments that made Hawaii have Great Style. CoConuts and Pineapple, Gauva, Papaya, Lilliquoi, Mango, Banana graced everyones kitchen to share with Guests and give children. Sugar Cane was a raw form of Candy that took countless hours of effort to suck and chew the flavor for everyone. Coconuts were either full of milk, “spoon meat”, or hardened enough, to serve in pieces or shredded . Every house had a garden for flowers or vegetables and chickens,and pigs were everywhere. Medicine unavailable and treatment provided was less then standard. Dentists were ill equipped and I had a tooth extraction without any pain medicine, and the assistant held me in a head lock so I wouldn't move. Horses were visible on the roads and sugar cane trucks killed tourists by accident or on purpose at an alarming rate. Education was less then the National Average for actual Literacy and Pahoa Elementary let 8th Grade Grads enter High School unable to read or write, but Great Football Players. The Hippies Came and Never Left. I am one of them, that was running from Gov't Persecution Real, or Imagined. I managed to asssemble 15 Houses that were off the grid, and independent from utility companies, with water catchment systems, ceptic systems, indoor plumbing, solar hot water, and solar electric with generator back-up and final filters for potable water. I want to build 1 more living environment in the wilderness. I want to market the few hundred Images I have created and raise the money to start that project. That Old Statement, “It Takes Money To Make Money”, is more true today and always will be. My Credit is so BAD because of a debt with Uncle SAM in the tune of $80,000 USD. I just consulted with an attorney and He tried every thing to No Avail. They already took My Passport Privledges Away and that stopped My ability to attend Worldwide Functions I Am Invited To That Give Me Clients and Patrons because I am Personable and Well Liked in Person. I am a Great Closer and Only Need a Loan for a 6 Month Period. I will establish a Gallery and Print some 10,000 Photo and Digital Images I have Created Here In Hawaii.
